August, 92, of Alburtis passed away on October 11, 2014. He was born in Coplay on May 31, 1922 to the late Frank and Rose (Palmer) Perl. He served in the army during WWII, worked at the Coplay Cement Co. for over 45 years, and was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He is predeceased by his wife of 65 years, Hazel H. (Jacobs), and 7 siblings.

Survivors: Daughter Linda A. Hoosier and husband Gary Sr., of Alburtis; grandsons Craig and wife Jaci, Michael, and Gary Jr., and wife Abby; grandchildren Rylie and Caleb; brother Otto; and many other loving family and friends.

Services: Viewing Friday, October 17, at 10am, followed by a service at 11am, both at Weber Funeral Home, 1619 W. Hamilton St., Allentown. Interment at Grandview Cemetery to follow. www.weberfuneralhomes.com
