Athina Barhoum Younes
Athina Barhoum Younes, 80, of Allentown, died June 25, 2011 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Born in Ayn Al-Raheb, Syria; she was a daughter of Aziz and Aziza Barhoum. She was the loving wife of Nassim Younes. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Allentown. She was predeceased by a daughter Georgette Younes, a brother, Georges Barhoum, and two sisters, Jamileh Barhoum and Latifa Salloum.
Survivors: Husband; Son, George Younes, husband of Ahlam of Allentown; Daughters, Aziza, wife of Aziz Saab Saloum of Allentown and Sara, wife of Issam Georges Daboura of Allentown; Brother, Abraham Barhoum of Syria; 12 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Services: Mass of Christian Burial, 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 501 Ridge Ave., Allentown, PA. Viewing: 7:00 - 9:00 PM, Tuesday, June 28, 2011 and 10:00 - 10:45 AM, Wed., at Weber Funeral Home, 502 Ridge Ave., Allentown. Interment to follow in Laurel Cemetery. (www.weberfuneralhomes.com)
