Arselia Garcia, 91, of Allentown, passed away Friday, August 11, 2023 at Cedar Crest Post Acute. She was born July 30, 1932 in Maunabo, Puerto Rico, the daughter of the late Jose Elias Garcia Garcia and Francisca Garcia.

She was a lifelong choir member of Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ in New York City for many years. She enjoyed cooking, her house was the gathering place and glue of her family.

She is survived by two daughters, Dalia and Ana Luyando; son, Jose David Luyando; five grandchildren, Yobanah Lugo, Lelia Vasquez, Miguel Acevedo, Anthony Reyes, and Carlos Rivera; many great-grandchildren; two sisters, Maria and Agripina Garcia; and brother, Alfonso Garcia.

A Public Viewing will be held Sunday, August 20, 2023 from 9:00 A.M. until the time of Funeral Services at 11:00 A.M. all at Weber Funeral Homes, P.C. 502 Ridge Avenue, Allentown, PA 18102. Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Memorial Park.
