Arlene May Reinsmith, 88, formerly of Center Valley, passed away September 16, 2006 at Phoebe Nursing Home. Born in Coopersburg, PA, she was a daughter of the late Zeno and Maggie (Miller) Meas. Arlene was a member of St. Johns United Church of Christ in Coopersburg. On June 19, Arlene and her husband Earl celebrated their 69th year of marriage. She was an active member of the Friedensville Senior Citizens Center and a member of the quilting groups at the St. Johns and Faith U.C.C. Churches. Arlene will also be remembered as a talented seamstress and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend.
Survivors: husband, Earl who lives at the Phoebe Nursing Home, Allentown; Son, Thomas Reinsmith of Emmaus; daughters, Louise Solomon of Wescosville, PA, Susan Kolts of Tillson, NY and Kay Schlaner of Coopersburg, seven grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and two nieces, Roberta Berger and Janice Healey. Arlene was predeceased by her parents and a her brother Robert Meas.
