Arlene Kloiber
Arlene Kloiber, 87, of Pen Argyl, formerly of Whitehall, died peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Aug. 3, 2011 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg. Born in Hammond, Indiana she was a daughter of the late Emil and Agnes (Abrahamsen) Olsen. She was the wife of the late Rudolph J. Kloiber for 59 years until his death on July 22, 2001. She attended Faith Lutheran Church, Whitehall. She was a sewing machine operator at Penn State Mills for many years. She enjoyed golfing and was a member of the ladies AMGA at Allentown Municipal golf course. She was a member of the Austrian Club.
Survivors: Son, Rudolph, husband of Colleen, of Whitehall; Daughters, Diane, wife of Edward Vogt of Clearmont, FL, and Mitzi Berklite, wife of Moe Pagni of Nazareth; Grandchildren, Shannon, Erik, Chrissy, Erin, Nikki, Lindsay, and Nathan; Niece, Janice; nephew, Bill; and 11 Great grandchildren. She was predeceased by four brothers, Emil, John, Arnold, and Ben, three sisters, Louise, Eleanor, and Evelyn, and one great granddaughter, Elizabeth.
