Ardell E. Trenge-Murphy
Ardell E. Trenge-Murphy, age 76 of Bath, passed over to the lord on July 18th in her home with her family & friends by her side. She was the mother of 8 children, and later 3 step children, she was an Angel on earth, the epitome of pure beauty. Ardell lived her life with the utmost grace; she was a fun, strong woman with a soft touch. She retired after 23 year of nursing in 1989 from the former Allentown General Hospital & continued her caring & giving to the day of her passing. She enjoyed her abundant family & friends & took pride in helping others, she also enjoyed her gardens. Ardell will be deeply missed by all whom she touched. She is a great loss. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late William & Ernestine (Laudenslager) Hill. Ardell was the wife of the late Jordan O. "Bud" Murphy for 10 years who passed away in 2000 & the late Anthony F. Trenge for 35 years who passed away in 1985.
Survivors: Daughter; Kathy Trenge & her husband Patrick Rivers of Egypt. Sons; Michael A. Trenge of Orefield, Joseph D. Trenge of Bath, Anthony R. Trenge & his companion Mary Ann Knight of S. Whitehall, David W. Trenge & his wife Mari of Zionsville, Guy R. Trenge & his wife Sandy of Huffs Church, Christopher S. Trenge & his wife Christina of Salisbury Twp. Step-Son; Ron Murphy & his wife Kathy of Spring Mills, State College. Step-Daughters; Patricia Daubenspeck & her husband Ron of Nazareth. Alyce Unger & her husband Stephen of Emporium. Sister; Connie Unger & her husband Charles. Step-Sister; Carol Schock & her husband James. 24 Grandchildren, 5 Great Grandchildren, many relatives & friends. Ardell was predeceased by her son John C. Trenge.
