Anthony "Andy" H. Weinhofer, 81, passed away Saturday, January 29, 2011 at Arden Courts, Allentown. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late John and Bertha(Bartolowitch)Weinhofer. He was the beloved husband of Janet(Wukitsch)Weinhofer to whom he was married for over 53 years. Andy spent his youth and early adulthood in the bronx,NY. He served in the US Army during the Korean war. He was a long time member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church where he served as an usher for many years. He worked at Sears&Roebuck CO; as an assistant manager in the disdlay department for 41 years. Andy was an avid artist and won many awards for his work.He loved animals,fishing,boating,skiing,ice skating and tennis. Andy was very devoted to his family and will be deeply missed.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Janet E. Weinhofer of Allentown. Three daughters, Edie, wife of Scott Stahlnecker of Allentown, Janet L. Weinhofer of bethlehem and Lisa, wife of Bruce Grube of New Tripoli; three grandchildren, Holly,Megan, and Sinjin.
SERVICES: Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 2 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church 825 N.11th Street, Allentown. Calling hours ar from 10a.m. until time of service at the church.
