Anthony (Tony) Palumbo, of Allentown, passed away January 4th, 2021 in Lehigh Valley Hospital. He was the son of the late Antonio and Edith (Atti) Palumbo. A graduate of William Allen High School and Moravian Preparatory School, he also attended Muhlenberg College. He served in the Army National Guard-Heavy Air Defence Artillery Unit, Fort Hood Texas. He operated his family's business, Tony's Beauty Salon, with his brother Vincent for many years before retiring. He was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Allentown and also a member of the NRA. Tony was an avid fisherman and Volkswagen enthusiast, who loved Penn State Football and going to diners with friends. He loved spending time with his children, grandson, Nicholas and of course his very bad grand-dog, Louie.
Tony is survived by his daughter, Aurora and husband Mark Amey of Emmaus; son, Alexander of Philly; grandson, Nicholas; Janet Russiano-McLaughlin (James) and grand-dog, Louie; brother, Nicholas Palumbo and wife Jacqueline of Whitehall; nieces, Patricia, Nicole, Marissa, and Vanessa and nephew, Robert. He was predeceased by his brother, Vincent and his wife Katherine Palumbo of Whitehall. Per the family's request there are no calling hours, graveside services are private.
