Anna May Rosemary Skrovanek passed peacefully with family surrounding her on March 9th. Anna May was born in Northampton, PA. During her life she worked as a tailor and a baker. She enjoyed bowling, bingo, and excelled at many sports. During WW II she played semi-professional baseball. Anna May was happiest when surrounded by family and friends and was inseparable with her best friend and spouse, Otto Skrovanek. They enjoyed 65 years of marriage.
Anna May was the daughter of Alec and Susan (Meashock) Gorsky, sister of Joyce Petrichko, Durham, NC, Marionette (Richard) Northampton, PA. She will be dearly missed by her husband, Otto Skrovanek, children, Darryl Skrovanek, Kennett Square, PA, Leo (Pamela) Skrovanek, Hellertown, PA, Susan (Freeman) Williams, Newark, DE and Michael (Elizabeth) Skrovanek, Shalimar, FL, her grandchildren, Stephanie Carlin, Ross Carlin, and Natasha Skrovanek.
A Catholic mass will be offered on Wednesday, March 15th at 10:00AM at St. Francis of Assisi parish, Allentown, PA. www.weberfuneralhomes.com
