Angelo Dal Pezzo
Angelo Dal Pezzo of Fresno, CA (formerly of Allentown, PA) passed away on Sunday, October 22, 2006 after a great life. He was 83 years old and has gone to join his beloved wife of 61 years, Mary, who died earlier this year. He was a Navy veteran of World War II where he served time in the Pacific achieving the rank of Machinist Mate 1st Class. Angelo was employed by Ingersoll-Rand at the Aldrich Pump Division in Allentown for 44 yrs. prior to his retirement in 1986. He was a 32nd degree Mason in the Jordan-Martin Lodge No. 673 F. & A.M., and a lifetime member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Allentown, PA.
He is survived by his son, Peter Dal Pezzo and his wife Angela of Fresno, California, and his daughter Diane Herrera and her husband Trinidad of Cincinnati, Ohio. He also has eight grandchildren: Dana, Catherine, Tanja, Theresa, Julia, Laura, Andrea, and Andrew and eight great-grandchildren - all of whom he cherished.
He will be remembered always for his strength, his John Wayne booming voice, and the abiding love he always had for his wife and family. We would like to thank the staff and all of his friends at Fairwinds Retirement Community for helping make his last few years comfortable and full of new friendships and love.
