In the early morning hours of December 25, 2023, Andrew Ryan Sofranko (23), of Hanover Township, PA, passed away after he was struck by a hit-and-run driver while on vacation with his parents in Melbourne, FL.

Drew was a very caring person who was always there for anyone who needed him. He loved his family, football, video games and his friends. He was a very intelligent young man and he had plans of enlisting into the United States Navy in 2024 with goals to be a part of the Nuclear Field program.

He is very dearly missed and is survived by his father Douglas D. Sofranko, his step-mother Danell A. Sofranko (Hanover Township, PA) his grandparents: Victoria C. & Philip Spadt (Rockledge, FL) Robert J. & Charmaine Sofranko (Jim Thorpe, PA), Harold & Joan White (Tunkhannock, PA) and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 13, 2024 from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. at Norcross-Weber Funeral Home located at 101 N. Main Street, Coopersburg, PA 18036. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Camp Orchard Hill Christian Summer Camp, where Drew spent many of his formative high school summers.
