Ana H. Velez, 79, of Allentown, passed away June 29, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Gregory and Praxedez Velez.

Ana worked all of her life as a seamstress. Outside of work she loved working in her garden and saving all the neighborhood pets. She will be remembered as a loving mother and generous neighbor who had a kitchen open for anyone in need.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children: Alex Ramos and his wife, Lori, Sara Ramos and her husband, Hector Soto, and Herman Ramos and his wife, Wanda; grandchildren: Veronica, Anthony, Killian, Joanna, Alexis, Julissa, Jasmine, Gabriella, and Sabian; great-grandchildren: Selena and Amelia; siblings: Ana E., Cano, Nestor, Raul, Oliva, Cana, Violeta, Frank, and Mary; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in passing by a grandson, Miguel.

A viewing will be held Wednesday, July 5, 2023 from 6-8PM at Weber Funeral Homes 502 Ridge Ave Allentown, PA 18102. A graveside service will be held Thursday, July 6, 2023 at 10AM at Laurel Cemetery 60 Kimmett Ave, Whitehall, PA 18052.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ana's memory to the Humane Society.
