Amelia M. Scott
Amelia M. Scott, 90, formerly of Allentown, passed on December 6, 2008 at Cedarbrook Nursing Home, Allentown. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Angelo and Rose (DeAngelis) Guarente. She was wife of the late Arthur Scott for 48 years until his death in 1987. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Allentown. She was employed by Pat-Rite Sportswear and Kuhn's and Shankweiler's as a sewing machine operator. She was preceded in death by a daughter, RoseAnn Pletz.
Survivors: Daughters, Dolores, wife of Thomas J. Lukish of Allentown, Carolyn, wife of Yaroslav Tognoli of Allentown, and Patricia, wife of Charles Tobler of Pen Argyl, PA ; Eight Grandchildren; and Fifteen Great Grandchildren.
Services: Mass of Christian Burial, 10:00 AM, Thursday, December 11 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 801 N. 11th St., Allentown. Visitation: 9:00 AM until time of mass at the church. Services entrusted to Weber Funeral Homes, P.C. (www.weberfuneralhomes.com)
Contributions: In lieu of flowers, to the Lehigh Valley Hospice, 2166 S. 12th St., Allentown, PA 18103.
