Althea Wetherhold
Althea S. Wetherhold 86, of Allentown, passed away on October 24 in Lehigh Valley Hospital. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late John T. and Clara (Sechler) Gehris, she was also the wife of the late George H. Wetherhold who passed away in 1980. Althea was a member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Allentown.
Survivors: Daughter: Mary wife of Nevin Maury of Allentown. Sons: George H. Jr. husband of Pat of Wescosville, Charles F. husband of Dorthia of Florida, Thomas J. husband of Delores of Allentown, Gregory J. of Northampton, Dennis D. of Whitehall. Brother: Thomas Gehris of Catasauqua. She was predeceased by a sister Elizabeth. 14 Grandchildren, 17 Great-Grandchildren, and 1 Great-Great Grandchild.
