Alice Sandy, of Allentown, passed away on June 4th at the age of 76. She was born in Frankfurt, Germany to the late Wilhelm Lotz and Augusta (Matthes) Lotz Stromberg and was predeceased by her husband Frank, son Robert Lee Jacoby, and her sister Helga. Alice and her husband Frank were the proprietors of Pellegrinos's Hoagie House and the Black Forrest Chalet, both in Allentown, and most recently Alice had worked for DeSales University in the house keeping department. She was an avid gardener and knitter and also supported the Lehigh Valley Humane Society.
Survivors: Son Michael F. Sandy of Allentown, Daughters Debra wife of Stephen Good of Coopersburg, and Suzanne wife of Daniel Wanish of Tennessee. Sisters: Lieslotte, Augusta, Gabrielle and Gerda. Grandchildren: Danielle, Shelbi, Sean, Tyler, Stephanie. Many nieces and nephews.
Services: A viewing will be held on Saturday June 7th from 9AM until a service at 11Am at Norcross Weber Funeral Home, 101 B North Main Street, in Coopersburg.
