Obituary

Alice Faye Dimovitz, 65, of Allentown, died in the early morning hours of May 8, 2007, in Lehigh Valley Hospice, Allentown. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Paul (Pete) Dimovitz. Born in Ardmore, OK, she was the daughter of the late Clester and Hazel May (Brooks) Flick and is the sibling of three surviving brothers, Claude Henry Flick of Madison, AL, Clester (Chet) Flick of Wylie, TX and Conrad Allen Flick of Garland, TX, and a sister of the late Helen Corrine Flick, who passed away not long after childbirth. Alice, upon graduating high school in Shawnee, OK, enlisted in the United States Air Force and was stationed at Elgin Air Force Base, Florida, honorably discharged in 1963. Her adventurous spirit then took her from New York City, where she lived for several years. She married Paul Dimovitz in 1967 and settled down in Allentown where she raised her two sons, Greg and Scott. Alice worked for the better part of 25 years for Blue Cross/Blue Shield in Allentown, where she had recently retired, opting for early retirement at the age of 62. She was a member of New Beginnings Fellowship Church of Allentown. Alice enjoyed vacationing with her husband and loved family get-togethers with her loved ones. She was a wonderful, doting grandmother who attended nearly all of her grandkid's activities. In her spare time, she was an avid reader and expert cross-stitcher, recently winning several awards at the Allentown Fairgrounds.
Survivors: Alice is leaving behind her husband of 40 years, Paul Dimovitz, two sons, Scott Dimovitz, his fiance Lara Narcisi of Denver, Colorado, and Gregory Dimovitz, his wife, Cynthia, and two grand-children, Kirsten and Kyle of Mohrsville, Pennsylvania. Alice is also leaving behind her older brother Henry Flick (with his wife Sue and daughters Tracy, Sunny and Kelly), her younger brother Chet (with his wife Myrna and daughter Natalie) and her youngest brother Allen Flick (with is wife Judy and sons Brian and Aaron), her closest friends, Michelle, Pat and many other friends as well.
