Albert Stanko, 90, passed away Oct. 18 at his home in Whitehall. Born in Austria/Hungary, he was a son of the late Josef and Gisella (Gollinger) Stanko. Albert was the husband of Kristina (Gasper) with whom he celebrated 62 yrs. of marriage this past June. He was employed by the Fuller Co. for 28 yrs. retiring in 1983. Al was a life member of the Austrian/Hungarian Club and also of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church. Survivors: In addition to his wife he is survived by; sons, Steve with wife Karen, and Albert with wife Nanette; grandsons, Burt and Brad Stanko; sisters, Stella, Paula, Cecilia, and Frieda; as well as many good friends and neighbors. He was predeceased by siblings, Bertha, Eddie, Anna, Joe, and Frank. Services: A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thurs. at 10 am, please call from 8:45-9:45 all in the church, 619 Fullerton Ave., Whitehall.
