Albert Michael Richie, son of Michael and Labeebee (Suleiman) Richie, passed away on April 30, 2019 at the age of 82. Albert was born May 2, 1936 in Al Baida, Syria and immigrated to the US in 1958 to attend college in Washington DC. He then worked as a chemist at Bethlehem Steel for 14 years. He was an active member of St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church in Allentown, where he served in various positions, most notably as president of the parish council.  Albert was married to his loving wife Antoinette (Saoud) for 52 years and was predeceased by infant twin sons Michael and Joseph. Albert enjoyed life to the fullest and spent his time gardening, caring for his fig trees, and watching the hummingbirds.  He was an avid wrestling fan, and his greatest joy was watching his grandchildren grow.

Survivors: Albert is survived by his wife Antoinette and his three children: Rami and wife Maria (Fafalios) Richie, Reema Richie, and Zaneh and husband Rami Khuzam. He leaves behind six grandchildren, Alexia, Lukas, Soraya, Adina, Julian, and Mia.  He is also survived by five brothers, three sisters, as well as many nieces, nephews, and loving in-laws.

Services: All services will be held at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church, 1011 Catasauqua Ave., Allentown, Pa 18102. Viewings will be held on Thursday May 2 ^nd from 7:00-9:00PM and Friday May 3 ^rd from 10-11AM.  The funeral service will be on Friday at 11:00 AM beginning at the church, followed by burial at Laurel Cemetery. www.weberfuneralhomes.com
