Albert F. Farnschlader Sr., formerly of Allentown, passed away on December 9 ^th at the age of 79. Al was a loving father who was always actively involved with his children and grandchildren's sporting clubs and extra curricular activities. He will be dearly missed. Al was born in Allentown to the late Paul and Betty (Stricker) Farnschlader and was predeceased by his wife Joan (Burnett) and his brother James and sister Rita Slafkosky. Al had graduated from Central Catholic High School, in 1957, and had worked at the former Allison Mfg. Co., in Allentown, as the cutting room supervisor. He was involved and coached several slow pitch softball teams and was a rabid Philadelphia sports fan and their was none happier when the Eagles won Super Bowl 52.

Survivors :  Sons: Al Jr., and Edward and wife Jessica of Emmaus. Two grandchildren Lance and Anna. and Brother Paul Farnschlader.

Services: A viewing will be held from 6:30PM-8:30PM on Thursday December 13 ^th at Weber Funeral Home 1619 Hamilton Street in Allentown, On Friday December 14 ^th at St. Ann Catholic Church, 415 South 6 ^th Street in Emmaus, a viewing from 10:00 AM until a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00AM.
