Albert J. Cunningham
Albert J. Cunningham, 79, of Whitehall, passed away on March 29, 2008 at his residence. He was the loving husband of Sophie (Charles) Cunningham for 45 years. Born in Coplay, PA; he was a son of the late Robert A. and Cecelia (Deutsch) Cunningham. He worked for Conrail for over 38 years until retiring in 1989. He was a member of St. George's Antiochian Orthodox Church, Allentown. He was a member of the American Legion Post #739 and a Hokendauqua Fire Department Life Member. He served in the U.S. Marine Corp. during WWII. He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert A. Cunningham.
Survivors: Loving wife; Son, Albert R., husband of Suzanne of Kentucky; Granddaughters, Nicole and Alexa Cunningham.
Services: 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at St. George's Antiochian Orthodox Church, 1011 Catasauqua Ave., Allentown, PA. Viewing: 9:00 - 10:45 A.M., Wednesday, at the church. Services entrusted to Weber Funeral Home, P.C. (www.weberfuneralhomes.com)
Contributions: In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Church Building Fund.
